Drapery hangers

I will soon be replacing the drapes in my 71 with a good used set. The originals had plastic hanging/ mounting tabs at the top and bottom which have a rectangular plastic tab with an open criss cross pattern which is sewn on to the curtains. What I am trying to figure out is are these the only type which will work with the 71 tracks. Is there another type of hanger I can use which may work better, be easier to install (perhaps without sewing to the drapes) and/or allows for taking down the drapes without removing the tracks. Thanks.

I have my curtains in the washer right now and you don't have to take the track down to remove them. There should be a little screw at the end of the track that you can remove and just slip the curtains off. Mine have the little plastic clips with the elastic sewn to the material. They aren't that hard to sew on and they seem to last quite a long time.

How do these attach to the curtains?

Are these the type used with the familiar drapery hooks that you impale the curtains (and fingers) with?
