Day/Night Pleated Window shades with broken cords
Any insights into replacement and cord path to insure that the shade works as new. At first glance it appears that the cords at each side appear to be one continuous length. The make of the pleated shade is EDI. Campers World carries new replacements but mine appear fine except for the broken cords. Any help is greatly appreciated! The MH is a 1995 flat front Cutter LE.

You might check with Camping World to see is they can refer you to a local or relatively local place that can make repairs...we had to have one of our fixed and our Camping World helped out...wasn't too much. If that doesn't work check with some of the RV places around your area...these shades are used in a lot of different types of RVs.
Perhaps these directions are close or will be of some help. I know they cross on top. Are you able to take down a working shade and trace it's stringing? We have had one side break at the fastener and pull out of the holes. We laid them flat slightly extended to restring and temporarily secure and tension them, then closed them tight and secured with a rubber band on each side. Remounted them and then gently worked the strings for even tension and then secured the end.
