My Airstream Dealer in TN says, "Factory says no longer available". Please give me a price quote.

Why would you buy the fastory ones when they are not as good as the drapes from Ambruso?
Even if they were available I would not want that thin stuff in my trailer again. The ones in my dad's 1973 that he bought brand new were crappy. I have seen the replacement drapes from A/S. Yuck....

Two sources in Blue Beret..

WBCCI Magazine lists two primary sources, plus several Airstream dealers... James Ambruso in Florida (web site above) or Fowler Interiors in Symsonia KY (fowlerinteriors@hcis.net). I can certainly vouch for quality of Ambruso drapes, which take almost 2 months to get, but are worth the price and wait...

Get the fabric samples and do the measurements carefully, and be ready to be happily surprised..

Fowler Interiors make absolutely wonderful drapes, and have a very large selection of fabrics. The Fowlers have refurbished the interiors of both my Airstream and Argosy. I think that you will find that their preference is to have the coach at their shop to measure and fit the drapes - - they include installation as well - - I have been absolutely thrilled with the results in both of my coaches. According to my calculations, Sysmonia is just a little more than 200 miles from your location. You can contact the Fowlers via:

fowlerinteriors@hcis.net

Good luck with your quest for new draperies for your B-Van!

Jim did the drapes in my parents' '73. They look GREAT!
They block out more light than the original ones EVER did.
It saves on the A/C too.It doesn't have to work as hard.

Fowlers did the upholstery in my parents' '73. It was about 10-12 years ago.
It still looks really good. It is holding up better then what the original material did.

Jim Kinsey.

I think your dealer is wrong.

Call Airstream and ask them direct for availability.

Jim,

the dealer may be wrong.
Call Airstream.
Then call James P. Ambruso.
Then call Fowlers.
You can always hang up towels! :-)

Confirmed Airstream no longer stocks curtains for 95 B-van.
Spoke to Fowlers, they will make them and they have the measurements from
previous customers.
Thanks,
Jim Kinsey

Airstream does not stock drapes.

They make them to order for aftre market use.

As of 2PM today, Airstream confirmed that they will make a set of drapes for a 95 B-van, provided that the old drapes are returned to them, or, you provide the dimensions for them.

I have a pretty decent of drapes set I got off a 75 I want to put on my 71. There are a few tears to the lining and all the hangers need to be redone. I am not to particular if the liners are patched rather than replaced. Can you help?

Drapes made by James Ambruso are extremely well made, probably the best out there. I had a set made for my 76 Sovereign and they are definitely superior to the factory drapes in my 2007 Classic and they're pretty nice.

FYI JPA drapes

I got this from JPA drapes last week:

Thank you for your interest in James P Ambruso, Inc. We no longer make draperies for models that are before 1969. Wish we could be of help.
