Brushed look for interior skin
We have been looking at the AS on our local dealers lot for insperation for the interior of our cloud, we found it. We love the look of the interior skin on the new Bambi's and would like that look in our cloud (Sookie). I read about some members brushing with a scratchpad of sorts. I dont like the look of scatches on my skins. Is there another way to get the brushed look without scratches?
Also is the a foam dealer that is a member that I can order from so sorta keep the money in the family if I can. I will be making a new dinnet/couch soon and need the foam.

I guess you just bought new metal? I was hopping to just apply a finish.

The wife just informed me that the skin look we want in our cloud is a satin finish not brushed so I guess I need to figure out a way to get the "satin" look.

I'd try a very fine scotch-brite pad on a random orbital sander; experiment on some scrap aluminum.
3M™ Finishing Systems - Scotch-Brite™ Discs
I've not tried the sander myself, but I've done it by hand for small aluminum switch plates, control panels, etc. on our Airstream.

Another approach you might look into is the one I am taking with my '58 Overlander interior - stripping the paint with soda blasting.
So far, I've only done a test on a couple of spots (I recommend you test first also) and it removes the paint leaving a mottled metallic surface. Whether that is the satin finish you are after I can't tell you.
The blaster is coming by to do the whole job in a couple of weeks. I'll let you know how it turns out.

I have done a small section with a soda blaster and its not excaty what I am looking for. thank you for the reply. I decided to use citristrip to remove all the paint on my skins and it is working very well so far.
I think I might try some pearl paint with a light tint of a color that I havnt picked yet. I am thinkng that might tame the reflection down a bit and add some hue that would match my cloth colors.

Update on the soda blasting - The soda blaster is here, working on the interior of my '58. Looks like a snowstorm in August. I like the interior surface that it is leaving, and it is actually good for cleanup that it is being done in an interior space - the trailer itself. Drifts of soda are filling the stripped trailer but that will be easily swept, shoveled then vacuumed. Surrounding greenery outside is coated and will no doubt brown or die. I'll hose down everything when it's done. Expected to take 5-8 hours at a flat $1500 fee, which seemed high but I see similar rates on this forum.

I think it's probably money well spent.

Check on the DeLoren site as there are a lot of ideas on how to maintain the brushed finish on these cars
