Bronze studs?

Does anyone know what Craig Dorsey used to fasten the wall panels? All he says in the photo description is "bronze studs". The same fasteners also appear to be used on the counter top edges. Anyone have a source?

They look like decorative upholstery nails to me. See Access Decorative nails, brass nails, upholstery tacks, shank nails, metaleather nails, brass nails, decorative nail stripping

Although from the description, "Bronze Studs" I was expecting something more like:

That's a bronze stud.

Yes, and as Dave Barry used to say, it would make an excellent name for a band.

Hi Kimball1966: You can use them to decorate BUT----- do not let them contact aluminum body parts of the trailer. They are disimilar metals and aluminum being less noble will serve as sacraficial anode. Thanks "Boatdoc"

After looking more closely I'm wondering if they are actually an aluminum rivet of some kind that has a bronze finish?

Still look like upholstery tacks to me.

My guess is that they are decorative, not functional.

Probably right. You can find what looks similar by searching for "bronze upholstery nails" in Google Images. For the wall cladding, the nail part could be inserted/glued into something like a rivet nut which is the actual fastener.
