Bedroom Walls - Paper Peeling

The wallpaper in our 1977 bedroom is peeling off. Can someone please send pictures or give me ideas on what to put on the walls once I have this contact type paper stripped off - Thanks so much in advance for any ideas

What are you using the strip the paper? Just curious because I'm thinking of doing the same.

If it is the partition walls you can use a heat gun on low it will soften the glue enough on what is still stuck on. To much heat and the wall paper will tear just let it cool a few seconds and start again. Slow gentle pull and it will come off. keep the heat where the paper is pulling off the wall. Wipe down with mineral spirits let dry sand down any rough spots. The good primer and paint with your choice of colors.
