This is my first post. I have searched this particular topic and could not find any info.
I have a 1972
Sovereign. I have removed the interior wall panels. I was playing around with attempting to strip a panel when I noticed the back of the panels, covered in a white paint, striped with one wipe when I was wiping away the excess stripper. This led me to look into using the reverse side of the panels stripped. Really easy to strip and prepped for polishing.
Now before anyone gets too upset I recognize the flipping of panels from left to right, and the rivet holes would not line up...have to do some cutting...but...the finished design of my trailer will actually leave me with panel material to spare as I am moving the rear inside wall forward 6 ft. including the overhead and recovering the rear section with new material. Has anyone tried this. Does it make sense or am I nuts? If you have a look at my website what I am attempting to do is explained under "zenmans mobile"
Thanks in advance for any comments.
