I bought a couple of lightweight quilted comforters from Target-kind of a dark brown with a "woodgrain" stitch in cream, the back is cream-colored also. I am going to replace the original 1966 curtains in the '66 Globetrotter with this fabric (if everything goes as planned, anyway!) Cream side out, brown side in. I think I can use the old curtains as a pattern. Maybe a vintage tea towel for the kitchen shade. Now if it would just warm up enough that my hands won't freeze to every surface outside!

hi I just made simple curtains for our flying cloud with the Hawaiian print fabric from fabric mart in Hawaii. We love them. they are on a rod. I used the 50 poly 50 cotton and I think it will wash up well with the dogs and travels.
The faux leather fabric should be available through a marine or auto upholstrey supply shop locally. There is one here in floriday called ABCO. The pleather is beautiful and inexpensive.....7-10.00 per yard.
