Wink Am I a complete fool....used latex instead of oil..

So, we are in the priming stage and just primed the entire walls of our 75 Overlander with Kiltz, but we used Latex instead oil. Was this a big, huge, fat mistake. I am just realizing now that we may have messed up royally. Any suggestions or comments??? Yikes! Are our painted walls going to fall down??

The paint may fall off but the walls shouldn't fall down.

What are you painting over? I should think you'd be OK, though I'm not totally sure how latex will hold up on aluminum. If going over the wood or fake wood, you'll be fine.
Hopefully some of the painter types will check in with better info.

Lucy.

Painting the walls with Latex is ok.

How you prepared the walls is "EXTREMELY IMPORTANT."

The walls should be sanded with 100 grit sandpaper, first.

Not scuffed, but sanded, to the point of cutting into the vinyl.

If not, the paint job will fail.
