1977 Goucho Sewing Pattern

Any chance there is a resource for patters to do the seamstress work on my well worn Goucho?

Thanks for any advice

I would be interested in seeing the same as we are going to do a repeat gaucho in the 65 when we get to it. I have found every trailer we do is a new adventure and if you can find someone who knows how to help you on this part, we'd all like to know. Always looking for an easier way and some tips on the process.

I have a really good upholsterer here in Plattsburgh, NY who does all of our curtains & gaucho's. She does really high quality work. I'll put you in touch with her if you're interested.
Thanks,
Colin

I just slip-covered ours because I wanted off-white fabric to lighten up our dark interior and it would get dirty quickly. Slip-covering was easy and it comes off to wash.

Another advantage is that if you oversize it a little, it will go on over your mattress pad and sheets, so when you stop for the night you only have to pull off the slip-cover and your bed is ready--no putting on sheets and making beds at night! We use twin duvets with covers (therefore no top sheet) and they fold up inside a Europe-size pillow sham and serve as big cushions/pillows on the gaucho during the day.

Hi Collin.

I am changing our front Gaucho on our 1975 25 ft landyacth and moving to a dinette design. We will need to redo all the cushions into a new configuration. I would love to know how to reach her. We're in Sherbrooke in the Eastern Townships.

We could also come by and visit your outfit...

Thank you!

Hi Ghislain,
Her name is Brenda Leclair, & she owns Northland Upholstery in Plattsburgh, NY. Her # is (518) 563-4835, email northlanduph7mil@gmail.com
She does very high quality work, & has done all of the upholstery & curtains in our restorations, including Matthew McConaughey's trailer & the trailer we did for the head office of Kimberely Clark Corp.
Good luck,
Colin
