Try this place for elastic shock cord. Elastic, Cord & Webbing, Inc. - Elastic, Webbing, Tapes and Cords . Walter can you post a couple of pics of your curtains with the rings. I think that is a great idea.It would allow the curtain to pleat.

Thanks for the info. I too would like to see a few pics of your curtains, I'm afraid I really do not understand what you are referring to when you talk about the elastic cord running through the brass curtain rods. A picture would help tremendously.

Hello Man In A Tin,
maybe you have some photo's you will share. Hope you have the curtains as well as the rods. I would like to see the plastic rings and how they attach.
