I think my husband & I are getting the fever. We have purchased our second Airtstream in 2 months......

A/S #1
Purchased a 1971 Souverign ILY.... All original, curtains upholestry, high low shag carpet, everything original, AC, water heater, heating unit, stove, fridge..... Good skins except one area and the banana pan. We plan to replace bathroom floor, hot water heater, tires, some of the plumbing with pex, window & door gaskets, some of the tambour (3) doors. We also plan to repair and polish skin.....

A/S #2
Purchased a 1964 Ambassador ILY... All original excpt for sleeping area (twin beds)..... Inside floors will have to be replaced..... And thoughts on the value of this one before and after a restoration....?

No, not buying old trailers to fix up... Bought the 1st one then found the 2nd one, like the smaller size better. just wandering abut value..
Have some property located on the lake. Fixing up to go camping......

Ayone got any commets on the 64 model Ambassador.. Can anyone tell me what the snaps around the outside window are used for.....

Ambassador in average shape 4-6000 is my guess.Easily determined by comparing it to others you find in the marketplace. The less it needs and the better it shows the higher the value, then factor in the floorplan and amenities.There are always exceptions up and down.
