Cheap or Free Hook-ups - MT

Two miles west of Noxon MT, there is a bar and grill that has cabins and full rv hook-ups. My wife and I stayed there last week and will be for the next couple of weeks. They offer a wonderful price of $8/night. It's called the Herfurd. They seem to be real nice people too.

Other places in Montana that are nice to visit are Harry's Flat on Rock Creek, a Blue Ribbon Trout Stream. No hookups and free, offered by the forest service, another on Rock Creek is the Dalles. The Rock Creek that I'm speaking of is about 26 miles east of Missoula. Both free, no hook-ups.

There is another place by Townsend MT. Not to far from Canyon Ferry Lake, but I'm not real sure of the name I havn't been there for a couple of years. If I remember right it is just a couple of miles out of Townsend towards Helena. Of It is free, no hook-ups.

Sounds like a lovely spot and I hope to visit there this summer.

I think it should be in the Western section (not Mid-West). Maybe a moderator can move it.

Another place called 'the Dalles'.....WOW! I thought that the only one with that name in the 'States was in Oregon about 80 miles East of Portland on I-84 and the Columbia River.
