Ah, Milo,
ya don't have to win the lottery...
All you have to do is give up a little security...ok, maybe more than a little...
We are actually in the Tyson Wash LTVA of La Posa, but the best way to access us is thru the La Posa West gate...come in the gate, pay yer fee($40/2 weeks, $180/till April 15th)-this allows you free access to dump/water station, dumpsters, and(if yer brave) pit toilets. follow the paved road to the left-it turns into dirt real fast- and drive about a mile, but not more than 2, and stop when you see aluminum on your right. A word of advice: stop in the road and walk the area before pulling in, as you will need to figure out the logistics of parking AND disembarking before entering...there is also a lot of space on the opposite side of the road...just a few HUNDRED acres...
If we get enough response, I MIGHT be coerced into donning my regal attire...
the rest of the time, it will be the usual uniform of shorts, sandals, and Hawaiian shirt(optional-depending on the sun)...drop by and visit, even if you don't want to stay...we ain't goin' nowhere...

We would sure like to come and have an audience before the reigning TTQ but as Jimmi stated we are Snowbound. Actually it's not that bad. We are however hoping that the TTQ will be making it's presence at the Deadhorse Luau. Apparently that person is because he is decked out in shorts/sandles and Hawaiin shirts.

Well,
If I show up in anything but a Hawaiian shirt, you probably wouldn't recognize me, but I have been known to go shirtless...EXCEPT when I visit the Jimini BLOODY MARY bar...then, it's 'no shirt, no service'
My sandals are, apparently, tolerated
Sure do wish I was up there freezing my butt off, rather than down here, seeking shade every 30 minutes or so...

weekend warriors OK?

Boy happy hour with you guys sounds like a blast (and we're close...), but Like Milo, longer term visits require time away from the corporate dollar source. And I'm damn glad to be among the employed today. So, are short term weekend visits doable? I'm not up on the "Q" town etiquette.

Cheers,
K & L

Short-term is fine...be aware that if you camp with us, it will still require a 2 week permit($40), but you can access the dump station and water fill...and if you wanted to return the next weekend, the permit will stii be good...as far as etiquette, The Queen ain't got no etiquette...well, I don't know, for sure, I haven't looked for it, recently...
Looking forward to seeing you...
