I have given a Rockdocking camp site in the Nebraska Badland country and a Boondocking camp site at Fort Robinson, Nebraska in the Western Boondocking section. I consider Sioux and Dawes Counties as pure WESTERN camping. Oglala National Grassland and Buffalo Gap National Grassland in South Dakota are wide open Rockdocking locations...

Once you visit this part of Nebraska, I will guarantee that you will return. It is also a great jumping off point heading to Yellowstone National Park to the west in NW Wyoming and to the north to the Black Hills, South Dakota.
