What LED lights do you use?
What LED lights have you installed?
I'm looking to upgrade the florescent lights in my 1996 to LED's for more conservative usage and thought I'd see what everyone was using.

We changed out all our puck fixtures with bulbs from superbrightleds.com
The have a large selection of types and color temperatures and so far, after 5 years of use, no failures. Not sure if they have a strip to retro into your fluorescent fixtures, but they have lots of component parts you can "cook" something up with.

Just ran across this product line in the latest issue of Sea magazine:
Linear Lighting - Marine Lighting - Boat Lights - Yacht Lights - Imtra
A wide variery of 12vDC LED linear fixtures (designed as replacements for fluourescents), either surface mount or recessed. And because they're designed for wet conditions aboard a boat, they should work fine in a galley or bathroom as well.

I am using flexible LED tape to refit the existing long incandescent fixtures over the bed and in the bathroom. Not done yet, but really simple and inexpensive. There are several manufacturers.
I second the recommendation for LED4RV they are helping me with my overhead lights and are most helpful.

LED Interference
We converted our 2008 Safari 27FB to LED lights. We have found that when the overhead LED's are on, they create enough interference that we cannot pick up over the air television signals through our antenna. When we turn off the overhead LED's, the television reception returns.

WOW! 300 LEDs for $16? Uh, yea, I'm in. Last time I looked at doing LEDs I did the exterior lights on my Motorhome and it was about $200. The interior lights were going to be more; like $300.
With these strips I could make a whole new lighting design and just leave the stock lights in place. Awesome, and Thanks!

Most used lamps...
All interior puck lights, over stove light, step light, porch light.
No aesthetics involved, conservation only.
From Superbright and led4rv.

Many of the LED products that use current regulators (instead of resistors) product RFI. You won't notice it if you are in an area of strong reception. The reels of LEDs do not have regulators, so they will always be interference free.
You can cut down on the RFI by soldering a small disc ceramic capacitor into the socket, or even on the LED device itself. If that doesn't solve th problem, the next step is an RF choke in one of the power leads, very close to the socket.
I've found that most of the problems are created by the small multi-LED discs that have G4 pins.
