A Martini in one hand and iPhone in the other (Air Forums) and occasionally look up at nature! Just kidding, sort of. I take a hike, walk the dogs and enjoy the nature around the Bambi!

Glad to hear Laura does not go around killing fun.

And it was enjoyable meeting Chief (chief of what?) and Jenn. When we finally move to NM, I hope we can travel in winter since it's easier to get away without too much freezing and maybe we will get to those winter rallies.

Now, is Pill a pill?

When we boondock, it's usually because there is something in that place that we want to see or do such as visiting friends, Burning Man Festival, camping on our undeveloped land in Washington. We walk around, visit with people, work on projects.

If I think I might have time on my hands, I bring a portable hobby like my spinning wheel or knitting. I always have a camera (also waiting for that National Geographic shot that never quite happens) and a book. I like to have something to do, or, better still, options of things to do.

We have 5 girls so "entertainment" is not much of an issue. Even with 7 of us we can go three nights boondocking with water on board and solar in our safari 30 bunkhouse.

Our best vacations have been off the beaten path..
