Gold Placering
Could you give me the county name the claim is located? I can then go through my mining library to locate any information that might be of interest to you, if I might. I am assuming this is located in Oregon, but to go back to your message I will loose my train, usually on the verge of being derailed, of thought.
Nuggets. I bought a modern metal detector made by White's this summer and the electronics can detect a bb or piece of bullet shrapnel at 6 to 10 inches. I am using it along the 1867-1868 Union Pacific track in Wyoming and have exhausted myself by not taking a break while "finding" coins, brass, lead and pounds of iron... No gold, but your offer should attract much attention. At $1700 an ounce, a few grams will be good gas money, lots of good healthy exercise with shovel and pan, and an excellent idea of how hard these early prospectors worked to make their grub.
Good luck and how generous an offer!!
