Off the grid washing machine

Just saw a video on facebook for an off the grid washing machine that looks pretty promising. It's called the Drumi. You can find it on yirego.com

Won't start shipping until the end of the year though. Looks pretty effective and uses very little water.

This off-grid washing machine has been around for a very long time. It's tried and true design is extremely simple, and intuitive to use:

Or, you could get this one
https://www.amazon.com/Ball-Clothes-...PC9AWQY20PHQKV
and use it with a 5-gallon bucket.

Ive been using a 5 gallon bucket myself. Just thought this looked pretty cool. I do love having spare instruments around though.

Will it work with 12v power or does it require 110?

Washing is one thing, but what about drying? After all, who wants to hang all their old underwear out on a line for all to see. Here's an idea. Cut a hole into the bottom of a small metal garbage can and connect it with a flex metal tube to the exhaust pipe of your TV or RV. Then just drop in your wet clothes and step on the throttle to blast in enough hot exhaust to tumble dry those clothes!
I haven't actually tried this idea myself, but it seems so cheap and easy....why not?

Flagpole and clothes pins? I've heard it pays to advertise...

I'm still trying to find a nations flag that would match the, um, character of my under shorts.

Best I could find was this one. You would need to reverse the color scheme to get closest to what you would need:

Drying? How about this one:
https://smile.amazon.com/Household-E...dp_o_pC_nS_ttl

Dissasembles into a trailer-friendly small package and does not produce poisonous exhaust fumes.

We found one of these set up for use at a living history farm. It took a few tries to teach my granddaughter how to use it properly. She wanted to stand in front of the rub-board and scrub "uphill." I had to show her that by standing behind the board and rubbing the other way it keeps the water from running down your arms and keeps the clothes you're wearing dry.

Of course, grandma was the only one who had experience with the technology and could do the teaching.
