West Miners Creek near Creede

[Boondocker]

Just west of Creede there is a fairly nice area with boondocking. Miners Creek is a pleasant creek with abandoned mining structures here and there. At the end of the road there is a trail head into the forest. The spot is convenient to Creede, which has a dump station outside of town.

There are a few pictures of the area in the Generals gone AWOL 2008 thread and it is on the favorite campsite map
