Looking for secluded lakefront area rental in New England

We are sick of campgrounds and RV lots and would really love to spend some time in our 54 Safari at secluded lakefront site , on the water, in New England. Does anyone know of any rentals in CT, VT, NH, or ME?

If you come to Minnesota I have a lovely place to boondock here.
16 acres, where the river enters the lake. Deer, eagles, loons, mosquitos...
Fairly isolated.
Free.

Sounds awesome, is it easy to get a trailer into? I have a 19ft Globetrotter.

boondocking in Colt State Park, RI

To the best of my knowledge, campers are not permitted. I have never seen one there.

This is a tall order in the northeast US. I would suggest that you research National and State Forests and also look at County parks. You might just find a jewel.

Best of luck.
