Linklite battery monitor

How do these connect. Is it a small wire that runs straight to the battery or, is it more complicated than that? Not sure how I would route the wire and then mount in my Argosy.

I see them ranging from $144 a $250 on eBay.

Anyone care to share your experience.

Thanks

Dan

Hard to say exactly without seeing an instruction manual or wiring diagram, but my TriMetric RV2025 MUST have the positive lead hooked directly to one of the battery's positive post and the negative lead upstream of a shunt placed inline just upstream from the other battery's negative post. This is the only way to include ALL circuits drawing power from you batteries, including those which do not pass through a fuse block or power distribution buss.
