How are the "Cheap or Free" posts working out?

I haven't heard much feed back from the Cheap or Free Boondocking and/or Dump Stations posts, so how are they working out for you? Are you able to visit the spots regularly? Have they changed the way you camp, shifting from commercial parks to cheap or free places? Does it encourage you to boondock more often? Are you surprised a the high quality of many of the boondocking spots listed? Are your surprised that many of the spots are close to where you usually camp? I'd love to hear your comments and/or recommendations.
