Oh yes, Crazy Jug point.

Follow my directions on some earlier post made several years ago under Boondocking. Decent dirt/improved roads to get there. Lots of space and great access to the Grand Canyon trail to the bottom...or just sit on Crazy Jug Point and sip on Beer, Wine, Soft Drink or water. I had included a group of photographs of the open area to park. There are other camping spots on the rim to the west of Crazy Jug.

It is higher elevation, so more of a Spring, Summer and early Fall spot.

In the hot months, there are rattle snakes... Just little ones that you can take a walking stick and gently move them into the brush away from camp. They will sound like a grasshopper... but be careful. Probably found twenty or thirty under the trailer one morning...

Naw... just made that up about rattle snakes under the trailer. One 14 inch rattler on the dirt road while hiking. Our two Blue Heelers kept their distance and gave it no thought. If you step out at night... read the Thread about Flash Lights. Keeps you from stepping on one or two.

Go. You will love it and it is on the map. Several routes to get there.
