free dump at Cabelas in Verdi
Great list. Cabelas just opened a dump station free for customers. (no attendant or registration required).
Its located just west of Reno on I-80 at Boomtown. Follow the signs to the RV parking. Its just past the rv parking on the west side of the building.

Our recent trip west provided some free places to overnight. These are Casino Parking lots where you are invited to overnight.
Ely: Hotel Nevada Casino is located downtown on Aultman St (Hwy 50) between 5th and 6th street. They have a parking lot set aside for RV's for Free overnight parking. The parking lot is located across Clark St (south side of Hotel Nevada) and between 6th and 7th SE of 6th and Clark intersection. Just a parking lot, but a good place to O/N. Some TV.

It's been a while since I posted these lists, so the answer is one of two possibilities. Either it is thrown in with Oregon and Idaho, or it didn't get a list because I don't travel there very often. When I started the lists, I thought others would contribute state listings for their home state or favorite state, but I was wrong. They kept waiting for me to do it, but I'm busy, or at least as busy as they are.

Cheap or free in NV is relative. I often camp on the east side of Sonora Pass at the Mountain Warfare Training Center in Bridgeport Ca. (awesome boondocking possibilities). Closest gas in CA is In Bridgeport at one of two gas stations apparently owned by one guy; next closest gas is at Topaz lake Casino and resort for often over a dollar less per gallon ... In NV!!!
