Thanks for the listing. We have stayed at Georgia Veterans SP in Cordele and it was very nice. We have also stayed at High Falls State Park in Jackson (not too far outside of Atlanta). It was also very nice. We picked up a state park guide at a rest area that has details on all of the state parks and their amenities. I have highlighted all of the places that have lakes and RV camping. I am ready! Now we just need sunny weekends and less working.

You may want to add FDR SP in/near Pine Mountain - one of our favorites.

Also, Blanton Creek in/near Hamilton - run by Georgia Power ($20). Many sites right on Lake Harding. Really pretty.
