Great List!

I have my first airstream which is my first camper and it should be ready before summer. I live in metro Atlanta and I was wondering where there were some sites around here.

Thanks for the listing. We have stayed at Georgia Veterans SP in Cordele and it was very nice. We have also stayed at High Falls State Park in Jackson (not too far outside of Atlanta). It was also very nice. We picked up a state park guide at a rest area that has details on all of the state parks and their amenities. I have highlighted all of the places that have lakes and RV camping. I am ready! Now we just need sunny weekends and less working.

I can't figure out how to link directly to the photos I have uploaded but I do have photos of both campsites under my member photos.

Awesome list, thank you! I haven't even heard of most of these!

You may want to add FDR SP in/near Pine Mountain - one of our favorites.

Also, Blanton Creek in/near Hamilton - run by Georgia Power ($20). Many sites right on Lake Harding. Really pretty.
