This thread is an example of good ole American entrepreneurship. No money to be made in actually making things—it is the high finance where the gold is. The market is up today and we should have a $20 B IPO ready or we can sell it to Google. Once that is done, we can start firing people and bears and prepare golden parachutes.

Gene, as I mentioned before it was happening a lot in the late 90's in Seattle. Vague ideas equaled lots of money. At this point I think I would like to take over the product supply division. I am well suited for this work. I still want 50% though. I'll be the Paul Allen or the Steve Wozniak to your Bill Gates or Steve Jobs. Allen and Wozniak had the right ideas about how to have fun with an unexpected wndfall. In a few hours I wil start work on the supply end.

Dan, you can work with Nuvi on supply. One scratches the bear's back and the other teaches him to hold the cup.

Somebody has to sign the 10K notice and the stock certificates.

To cut costs, water down the beer and take some extra cups from McDonalds.

Remember to file your receipts and other costs with accounting.

Where are the mods? Maybe they've taken the Sex in an Airstream thread to heart and aren't even looking at their computers except for porn.

I will keep impeccable records. Nuvi can have the BURINE supply end. I would like to focus on the HURINE end. I'll make the necessary changes in the business plan to reflect our new positions and my 50% voting stock stake. At this point I need to find a corporate shelter.

First of all, the "end" is not where to obtain HURINE. You need to go to the library and look at Grey's Anatomy.

In many places, you may find asking for HURINE product will get you in a lot of trouble and BURINE may be a product that will make you less likely to be arrested.

Also, VP's don't get 50% of the stock, more like .1%.

Ah well, It's always the visionaries and dreamers that lose out in the end. Corporate profits will always prevail. I went to Costco this afternoon and got some raw material (Bud Light, corn chips and salsa) and will resume production this evening. I have decided to limit my distribution area and concentrate on attracting some venture capital for early stage high potential startups. .1% indeed.

I have patented all these ideas and established an LLC in Kazakhstan and Greek banks are financing an IPO and handling negotiations with Apple. Borat will handle PR. Dan, do not act without further instructions or you will be charged with tortious interference with business relations. This world of high finance certainly is tough, but business is business.

Ummm, something mildly-to-moderately mood-altering, if not downright hallucinogenic, from what I'm reading.

Have you seen the commercial with the screeching, dancing head--- bobbing on an appendage off the right shoulder? Something like what those folks were using when they came up with that commercial. One can easily imagine tie-died t-shirts, unkempt beards, long straggly hair, feet up on the desk--something always in their hand, in a smoke-filled room.

I have to confess no personal, internal, experience with such things. Somehow got through the 60's and 70's without partaking of anything illegal. Probably a bit more straight-laced than was good for me, but may also have had to do with marrying young and having my first child at 22.

We have camped in bear country in all sorts of equipment since the early 60s and never had a problem....cook outside, clean the campsite especially the picnic table, dispose of garbage and trash properly, follow the campground rules specifically, and store food in the airstream in containers and the refrig and all should be fine. However, like a burgler, if a bear wants in a camper he/ she will get in. Good luck and enjoy the wilderness.
