I bought a few of the press-on puck lights at Home Depot and installed two of them under the cabinet above the sink in the galley and a couple under the cabinet above the sink in the bathroom. They can be placed anywhere with double-sided tape. You just push them to turn on and off as needed. I love the soft light they put out and I like the extra light when washing up without having to use the battery ceiling lights.
We use Soji lanterns made by Allsop, we got them from Amazon. We hang them on the awning during the day, when we go in for the night we hang one or two in the bathroom. They use a replaceable rechargeable AAA battery. At music festival folks have used our lanterns as directional markers... "turn left at the trailer with the lanterns".
