Best places to stay in southern Arizona?

This is our fourth month of full timing. We are now staying in Camp Verde AZ (central AZ). Since the temperatures are warmer in Phoenix and Tucson we are looking for recommendations from folks who have stayed in southern Arizona during the winter.

What are your favorite RV parks and/or boondocking sites in the Tucson and Phoenix areas?

Alamo Lake state park west of Wickenburg.
Kartchner caverns state park W of Tucson.

Chiricaua National Park in SW AZ.

Check out Picacho Peak State Park between Casa Grande and Tucson. They have electric and water.

Quartzsite

Have you ever been to Quartzsite AZ in January when the desert is filled with thousands of RVers? It's a hoot.

We'll be there for a week or so, dry camped on BLM land.

Thanks for everyones response. In researching RV parks in southern AZ I found many that only accept rigs less than 10 years old. It may be limited to those that have web pages but having a '77 it looks like we may have a problem finding a park to stay in.
