I found this script of "Bambi" on ebay & used it for my patch on the streetside of my Bambi II. Since the script on the curbside said "Bambi" instead of "Bambi II", I thought it was perfect. My Bambi II is the 3rd one made, so they must have used the leftover scripts from the Bambi's on mine & the previous 2. The electric shorted out in the wall & made a nice hole in the side, which was covered with the patch.

I saw a post here a number of months ago (maybe many, many months ago) where the owner made a patch that looked like a coconut palm tree to cover a ding. Heck, it looked so good, I would have loved to add it to my AS even though I didn't have a ding to cover up.

I have a radio antenna on a formed end section that has to go so its a four-inch minimum patch. We've talked it over and still can't commit to one idea yet. We've searched google images for 'silhouettes' of everything from armadillos to big cats to shooting stars and comets, penguins and loons, geese and ducks, racoons and bears... Currently thinking about the outline of a 'Owl'.

A couple of weeks ago we had a neighbor replace his front concrete stairs & had the guys come over at the end of their day to break up and haul off the Airstream-denting clothesline poles' footings...

The 'helper' had a belt-line to nipple prison tattoo of the State of Minnesota, complete with toilet paper ash loons and snowmobiles. That pretty much put us both off the idea of the MN boundaries patch. North America maybe, but never Minnesota!

the one i was thinking of looked like

a wing like what you would see on a motorcycle tank was really cool looking wish i could find it again. well also its another way to customize your rig
and put a personal touch on it and cover up an issue at the same time. not everyone is interested in changing all the skin panels which is alot of work and expense. hell a 38 year old trailer has been around ... haha..

Fix

Well, for our vintage, previous owner bought it with the broken handle (famous for breaking Bargman 66). So, instead of fixing the Bargman, he bought a cheapie black door handle and lock and cut a hole in the door and screwed on an aluminum plate.

We wanted to put the Bargman back on, but with the new hole cut, it wouldn't cover it or those screw holes. So instead of a small square patch, we went for a whole section down the door.

And Frank Yensan (62overlander) makes patches for those of you who may just want to buy one instead of buying the aluminum cutting it out etc. etc. Patches in shapes! Stars, states, hands, probably anything you could dream up.

Anna Lumanum

Here they are advertised on his blog about Anna. I am sure you could PM him also.
