The only fix is to replace the banana wrap and segment.

However, banana wraps are now available in plastic only.

You can paint it silver, as best thast you can. Or, you can paint the entire underbelly wrap, with proper preparation of course, with metallic charcoal.

That would match recent production years.

A few Airstream dealers can help you with the parts you need.

Hi, Bob,

How about naming it? Or considering it a beauty mark? Or deciding that it gives the old girl character?

Mine has dents and dings a'plenty, and that just proves that she's been around.

Let insurance companies take care of the major problems. Live with the smaller ones. Does it hurt the functioning of the trailer one little bit?

Just prepare a good story to tell anybody who asks about it.

Scott.

That filter element is a thing of the long lost past.

Through research, I have found a source for the replacement element. They can be purchased from General Ecology as pn RS-50G, current price is $44 + shipping, and can only be ordered by phone, 1-800-441-8166. The orginal Ogden designer/owner went to work for General Ecology when the they bought his Los Angeles company.
