small screw hole repair
I just picked up my used 34' Classic, Love it, I found two very small screw holes in the back about 4 " apart. The owner must have had some kind of an emblem screwed on.
I hope this is the right forum, What can I use to patch the holes they are
very small?
Thanks for your help

a small aluminum screw or a rivet would work for me. you might want to put something there yourself some day.

A rivet is my "Fix of Choice" where possible.
Congrats on the 34 and good luck,
Kevin

You could become a "supporting member" of the Airforums and put your personal Airforums sticker over the holes.

Use Olympic rivets with some Vulcum 116 on them to seal them.

Are you working for a commission there Kevin?

Thanks for all of your ideas, I get the idea, I'm going to put two small stainless screws with silicone.

A word of caution...Consider using parbond, or vulkem on your Airstream exterior. Silicone is considered a No-No.
Regards,
Kevin

No commission, I just totally appreciate access to this forum and the work done by the administrators & moderators. It's not cheap running a website (especially with so many pictures taking up space) and I realize I am also paying for the upkeep for "non-supporting members" and "guests" as well... so I suggest others becoming supporting members too. Worth every penny!
