slow moving carport

Unfourtunately our 99 Safari had a close encounter with a slow moving carport, and we have a crease in the back of the top roof and a smaller dent on the curbside. After reading all the accolades about Walts in Ocalla Fl, we have decided to bring the injured property to him. This was our first venture out in the trailer. Husband is a 40 year truck driver with an excellant driving record but this is his first srewup. We'll keep everybody posted on how this all turns out. It did defer our trip to Virginia and Buffalo for a few weeks.

Welcome to the forums! Sorry to hear of your accident Stuff happens. I am a few hours up the road in High Springs. Bob's RV Salvage is not to far from me if you need parts. He does have a few Airstreams in the yard there.

A slow moving guard rail did similar damage at the exit of our first campground on our way home from the dealer did similar damage to our new Safari Memorial Day Weekend and just this week end a doe did massive damage to the curb side front corner on our second outing so I can feel your pain...plus a whole lot more. We now have an unplanned trip to Jackson Center, OH in the works.

And ditto on the welcome to the forums as a new poster.
