Show me your guns

As we all know, rivets and riveting is a very extensive part of the Airstreamer's world.
So far after 2 Arrow Fastener Twister Rivet tools from HD(shown in the picture) and with the 3rd one failing already we are seriously considering on shopping around for a good pneumatic rivet gun.
We also know that wherever we will go the guys on the other side of the counter will always try to sell you the one with the highest price.
We are not looking for very fancy one, just a reliable one that will allow us to exchange the tips to be able to use it inside and outside the trailers.
So let's see your guns and what do you like and dislike and the price range...
Thanks again..

Thats the one I have used for many thousands of rivets...

With that being said, just one steel shanked rivet will destroy it and render it useless for a single aluminum rivet after that!

Arrow has always stood behind their guns.

Also MAC Tools makes a great rivet gun, but very costly.

Yup, I have one like the above...one steel rivet and the rod you see the end of on the swivel head bent into an arc. I am looking for a more stout thin grade 5 or 8 to run through there.

And yet, the cheap Chinese flea market one I bought 20 or 25 years ago works pretty well.

I picked up this one a couple of weeks ago from Harbor Freight. Think it was about 44 bucks on sale. Gave it a little bit of a workout today, drove about 40 or 50 3/16 rivets in the roof of my Overlander today to plug holes. Did pretty good, think it jammed once but I managed to clear it without getting down off the roof. Could pop a rivet usually on one pull, occasionally two. Comes with 4 tips and a spare set of jaws.

I've got one similar to the one in the image in the first post, but I've also got one of these. It's great for the 3/16 and 1/4 inch rivets, especially when you're lying on your back installing belly pan.

I found a good used rivet gun on eBay. Ingersoll.
I confirmed the grade I would need, based on the sheet metal and the rivet dimensions. Ton of great info here on the forums.

Don't forget the bucking tool.

Best of luck!

well guys, we were looking around on ebay, northertools & harbor freight and there is a huge variety and unfortunately is all made in China!.
We just went thru the same process when looking into drill guns. When tired of looking for a Made in USA the HD person helping us just told us that Milwaukee is the only one!
That is so sad, and really hard to believe

hi guys
We were wondering about the selection on the Airguns. We were under the impression that it would be like when we were shopping around for the Cordless drill, but it seems like we are going back to a very simple tool?
We were in HarborFreight yesterday and in NorthernTools the day before and honestly didn't see or felt any difference between the $30 of HF and the $80 in NT.
We are big into getting good quality tools and equipment but it doesn't seem like the is such an option regarding this tool?
Please correct us if we are wrong..
