They cause a lot of discussion - ask me how I know!

Hi, I believe the idea is to drill a hole in the center of the dent, pull it out, and fill the drilled hole with a rivet.

Slightly more than dings... These were on the trailer when we bought it. We would like to fix them eventually, but we're looking at new sheet metal and a bunch of money. Fortunately the skin isn't ripped so they don't leak....just look bad.

Every dent we have, I did, and, in most cases, can remember the bonehead move I made to cause it.

If you can't stand imperfection... don't take your Airstream out of the hanger...
Anyway as far as the repair, Dent Wizards and like can't do a lot for us 'Streamers. The tools they use require access to the dent from behind, so for an exterior skin dent, you are going to need to remove interior panels. I guess if you don't mind doing some drilling and re-riveting, you could take it to them opened up...

Their is a gentlemen named Stan that very well could help you out, I'm not sure to his user name here, but he is in the Gainesville area in Florida and deals with airstreams as a professional, and on a professional level. Should try looking him up and get advice from him.

Hi Shadeemry, I'd like to contact Stan - do you have any further contact info on him?
Thanks,

The Hindi would consider that ding in the forehead a blessing.
So, I'd put a rhinestone or Swarvoski crystal there. (Good selection of sizes and shapes at Michael's Craft Store).

A blessing!! Now that's a new twist that I'll have to consider.
