Rivet Shaver for loan

I broke down and bought a nice new rivet shaver. If anyone needs to borrow it, send me an PM or email.

Not trying to be difficult - but rivet shavers are easy to ruin and expensive - the only way I ever lend mine out is if I use it - I remember several years ago someone offered the same on these forums and it did come back ruined - again just trying to be helpful

Thanks, Ken. There will be deposits involved. I like my stuff too much to just give it away.

I own one and I agree, the replacement bit is about 150. My friends at Out of Doors Mart will rent them. You buy it and then you get a refund when you are done minus a fee of around 30-40 bucks. The generosity and knowledge on Airforums is second to none!!

The biggest problem with renting them is they are sometimes VERY dull and as a consequence , if you aren't careful OR don't know any better, you can do major damage to your skins if AND when it slips.
