Rivet Question

I am a restoring my 66 Caravel and it is time to start drilling out rivets for parts replacements. I noticed that some rivets have rounded heads and some have convex heads with a hole in the middle. Are these different rivets? I want to replace the rivets with the correct type.

Thanks for the help.

Rivets

The convex ones with the hole in the center are regular pop rivets like you buy at any hardware store (be sure to get all aluminum, some come with steel shanks), the rounded ones are solid rivets. If you remove these you need to replace with "Olympic" rivets, which are more expensive, and leave a stem which needs to to clipped off and filed down
