Rivet guns

Just thought I'd pass this along, was looking for a rivet gun on Harbor Freight website. They have two on sale now $49.99 was $100 and $26.99 was $50. For those of us just wanting to fix a couple of windows or minor job you can hardly afford not to buy one versus using a hand riveter. These are probably not top quality but for small fries like me it should last a lifetime. Happy riveting!

Sioux makes really nice rivet guns, but they cost a bit more. More like $250 or so. The airplane guys like them.

I think I would get the $32.99 model (95173-3VGA). It looks identical to the $26.99 model, but has a lighter weight (3.7 lb) composite cylinder.

I've used the $26.99 model for thousands of pop rivets. It's really nice to hold the parts in position with your free hand and just give a quick pull of the trigger to set a rivet. It does get a little heavy (4.8lbs) when working all day.
