Repair Body Damage - Seattle

I looked at a 1985 30 foot Excella that has a fairly significant dent in the front starboard (right) corner. Also a smaller one in the right rear - not significant for the moment.

Are there any recommendations for body repair shops in the Seattle area?

Also, the wide-bodies came out in 1996 - is that correct?

Thanks

I think you will need to consider that any Airstream repairs will have to be done by a good Airstream service facility. We had 14'x4' streetside aluminum replaced recently. My search revealed that SOB (Some Other Brand) service centers will not and are not able to repair Airstreams. Most panel damage has to be replaced as aluminum will not 'pound/pull out'. Aluminum stretches and will not return to it's orginal shape. Pre-shaped ends and corners are available.

Hi. I live in the Seattle area and I have had repairs done several times by a fellow in Roy. I am away from home and don't have his name here, but I am pretty sure you can get his name and number by calling the Airstream group in Fife. If you still need someone, drop me a message and I will get back to you next week. I think his name is Rodger and he has worked on a lot of the rigs that are parked in the Fife village. Joan

Here is a guy in Bellingham that you might try. I know his shop has done extensive work on vintage Airstreams as well as some stuff on newer ones, like mine.
