PO hole in side

The PO had cable running through a hole he drilled thru ext skin and int skin...just near a window. I have just put a small piece of metal tape over it for now, but how/ or can that be patched?

what ever you like. We have sort of a Jimmy Buffett them a had a hole in the back so I cut a palm tree out of alum. an riveted it on. I saw another guy that had a cut out of the state they were from. But it is hard to make it go away without some patch. Have fun

Wow, first somebody from Portsmouth, now somebody from Chesapeake. Howdy neighbor. Easiest thing to do is patch it, You can make it some unique shape or a circle or rectangle or whatever. You can rivet it in or use some type of sealant, just dont use any silicone. Only use a polyurethane like trempro.

Shoot me a PM. I've been working on my '73 Overlander now going on three years and have picked up a few tricks here and there. And do post some pics, we love pics here and it is the easiest way for folks to help.

Depending on the size of the existing hole, and whether it is close to a true circle, you may be able find a plastic or rubber cap or plug that will just snap in place. Home Depot or Lowes?

Thx for all the input, like the idea of various shaped patches riveted in.
