Thumbs up Our EXCELLA home from the Emergency Room

Another satisfied customer of Classic RV repair in Holmes, NY. Those of us in
the northeast are lucky to have another option for repairs to our Airstreams. We, of course, have Jackson Center at a long drive. And the dealer which for us is not bad at all here in NJ. I'm sure there are others also but I was referred to Classic to have 3 panels replaced due to a mishap while traveling back in March. He said I wouldn't be able to tell and he was absolutely correct. He pointed out the very small size difference in the rivets used and that is the only way to tell.

I was referred by a forum member who was happy with the work done on his trailer and I also am a happy and satisfied customer. Classic RV does it all on new, newer and old Airstreams.

That must feel good to have the scars disappear.

Do you have some before/after pics for us?

Eastern South Dakota is very pretty with hills, rivers, and trees.

It was in fine shape prior to being damaged. George said I wouldn't be able to tell when he was finished and he was right. When I asked him he pointed out that the rivets are very slightly smaller than the factory ones. If he had not pointed that out I don't think I would have been able to tell. To use the factory ones he would need to disassemble the interior and would have added many hours labor to the job. So it's not practical when there's a good alternative that can be worked from the outside.

Excellent work. Thanks for sharing.

So here's the other question that everyone wants to know: $$$?

I'm going to guess $1800.

Is the George you refer to the gentleman who used to work at a dealer in CT?

Yes that's the George from Ct. He's now in Holmes, NY.
I wish it was $1800. Well, I suppose my insurance co. wishes it was. There were 3 panels replaced and that doesn't even come close to covering the cost of them.
