I will post a recent "repair" pic if I can

This is one of ours

This is the first patch we put on trailer to cover up holes from hasp that was used to lock door during it's life out in the pasture

Odd compliment, but nice patchwork, looks intentional and nicely done.

I'm so disappointed in my square patch I put over my old heater vent. Why didn't I do something creative?!

Seriously, you guys have some awesome patches!

Had a few ugly holes from PO, no idea what they were for. They had been filled with silicone (each hole the size of a nickel).

Decided to support my home team, even though We're in San Diego now, I was raised in Seattle.

The logo is only on temporarily until I finish the polish job and then it will be permanently with some 3M adhesive tape.

Oh thanks. I have no idea what I am doing and I make no claim to nor do I hand out advice. I just report what mistakes I have made. It's been good. The support from the forum has made me get as far as I have.

Oh wow. That looks like my attempts at Drywall.

2024 T3 aircraft grade. I live close enough to drive to aircraft spruce to pick up 4x8 sheets. You can mail order smaller pieces but shipping is about the same or more as the aluminum.

My son & daughter-in-law are working hard on their restoration of a 1984 Avion 30P. After removing some unnecessary cable ports/phone ports, he was left with two big holes. Well, this Nana has told stories around the campfire with "Hootie" the superhero as the main character. He rescues all the children from some peril (bears, raccoons, drowning, you get the picture!). He always yells "Hoot, hoot hootie, I'm gonna save your bootie!" before saving them, lol! I have told stories to all the kids & now my grandkids for 30 years. So what better character for their trailer than Hootie?? I put together this patch for them. I hope my little granddaughter will love it!Click image for larger version
