Interior rivets in a 59 caravanner

Forgive me if this has been discussed several times, but I am starting to gut my old/new airstream and I noticed a bunch of the rivets are not the olympic type. Did they originally use the rivets with the tiny holes to sow up the end and lower panels? Several of them have fallen out. Thanks so much

Regular pop rivets were used to fasten the interior skin to the framework.

I am also working my interior. I have found the rivet removal to be slow. I am using a Dewalt electric drill. Is there a trick to getting these out any quicker?Thanks Track

It's easier if you use a split point bit, and have an awl or pair of pliers handy if you need to stake down or hold a 'spinner'. Make sure the Dewalt is set on speed 2.
