Help with exterior part

I started polishing my 1970 Overlander this weekend and need help with a couple things.

First, what is the part I need to get to replace what is missing in the picture?

Second, the PO had cut a section out about 1.5' x1.5' and used tin. I want to replace with proper aluminum. If possible, can you let me know where I could find pre cut or just a sheet that I could cut and rivet?

Thanks.

looks like the air intake / exhaust outlet for the furnace. Try an aircraft supply for aluminum or just go to a local aircraft maintenance place and see if they have a small piece.....Phil.

The furnace or just the outside cover - a new furnace should come with the exterior vent. The vent can be purchased alone also....
