My 65 Globetrotter was hit with golfball size hail this month. The front end cap got hit good. I polished it in June.

An Airstream dealer told me that the new aluminum pieces are different and will not match my old aluminum.

An airstream restorer told me the new aluminum is the same and does match. The only difference is the new clear coat is hard to remove. But as long as my old skin is polished, the new will match the old.

Who is correct?
