I still do not understand why, and maybe someone can explain.... but originally our Motorhome had furnaces with horizontal exterior vents.
Both front and rear furnaces were replaced, around 2001, Based on the production dates on the Suburban units now in place. The new furnaces have vertical vents.... and this is what I am left with...
Front is just rearward of the entrance door kerbside..
Rear is on the streetside just forward of a access hatch..
Now, I want to pretty this mess up some time, and was looking for thoughts or experience...
The front one, I was thinking about a plate that went from the vertical line of rivets on the LH, or rearward side of the vent, to the door frame on the right... and the rivet just above the vent to the rubbing strip below.
I was trying to think if that would look more obvious or stupid than a smaller patch... I did think about adding a twin 110V receptical there and a couple of Dog leash attachment points...
My dogs weigh a combined 160lb plus, so having some kind of strong leash point(think Chromed U-Bolt) where they could roam under the awning, or go inside with about 8' of leash would be nice.. or maybe even to lock bikes to... or somethging
On the rear furnace, I was planning to add an external shower hidden in the storage access for doggy washing, so another leash attachment poin there too...
The idea would be to tidy up the mess and make it look good, and add some functionally if possible.
I would value some opinions/ideas/thoughts please!
