Front panel gouge on 16’ 2001 Bambi

Last year my right front rock shield came loose and gouged the panel beneath. Attempting to repair myself but have no experience. I buffed out the night points but a deep gouge remains. I assume that it will require a filler but again have no clue as to how to apply and then buff to match the existing finish. Any assistance that you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

If you're determined to make it perfect, replacement of that panel is required. There is no patch, filler, or anything else that will make it go away.
