exterior trim rivets

Can someone tell me what size the replacement rivets are that hold the exterior side trim on my '73 International Land Yatch Ambassador? By the way, what are all these model names? It has a middle bath and rear double bed. I hear people referring to all of these models in singular mode, but haven't seen them all strung together except on the side of my large aluminum lawn ornamennt. Back to the rivets, what size drill takes the old ones out and what size do I replace them with. Do I re-bore the hole and does anything go under the trim where it ripped off (it is secure on the street side and back.) I duct taped the loose curb side portion to get it home. I am now looking for a permanent fix before we hit the road.confused:

Regular pop rivets will work, a normal pop rivet gun is needed, and can be bought at a local big box hardware store.

As for the names.

You have an Airstream, The Land Yacht desigation was a marketing idea, they are all land yachts until the late 70's

International is a trim level. This was an upgrade package that changed from year to year.

Ambassador tells us more than everything else. All ambassabors are 29 ft long. The floorplan was the same for all of the ones I have seen. Rear bath mid twins and kitchen on the curb side and a large front lounge.

Question names & models

Bret,Thanks for the info. I have just checked to make sure @ the ambassador name on the curb side logo. It does say ambassador, but mine is a mid bath with rear double bed, curb side kitchen, & the large front lounge. Is there anything I should consider when ordering parts? I hate the "Back & Forth " thing when I order the wrong part for something. I order a fair number of firearm parts, so I know how easy it is to miss something when ordering replacement parts.
I have most conventional pop rivets on hand. I just wasn't sure if those would work properly. This site has been a great resource for a "first timer''
