Hello everyone! I have read in a couple of forums that the side belly pan that joins the side skin at the rub rail goes over the side skin, not under it. That is how mine is on my '76
Sovereign. However, in the service manual, it shows the side pan going under the outside skin.
I don't like that my belly is over the side because it is the opposite of a shingle. It is just allowing more water to infiltrate the belly and rot the frame. What do you say? I am doing a frame off resto so should I put it back the way I think is right or do I put it back as I (and many others) have found it?
